I’M PASSIONATE ABOUT…
“I’m passionate about encouraging funders to put their philanthropic resources to use as risk capital – to keep our political institutions accountable and in pursuit of a true redistribution of power. I also love collective giving. Giving is simply more effective and more fun when you do it with others. That’s why community foundations are so special. When I’m not nerding out on all of the above, I’m partial to a delicious vegan meal and a walk with my dog Sonny.”

MY EXPERIENCE
“I bring seven years’ experience in the philanthropic sector, having held positions at philanthropic intermediaries and funding organisations including Australian Women Donors Network, Social Ventures Australia and Inner North Community Foundation. I founded Australia’s first LGBTIQ+ giving circle, The Channel (now giveOUT) and was Executive Director there for four years on a voluntary basis. I have a certificate in not-for-profit governance from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and have held Board positions at The Channel and the Urgent Action Fund for Women’s Human Rights Asia and the Pacific. I have a Bachelor of Arts (History and Gender Studies) from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Philanthropy and Social Impact from Swinburne’s Centre for Social Impact.”
