PROJECT SUMMARY
We are creating a brochure that will provide sufficient information and encouragement for residents to ‘divert’ more items from waste collection services.
There are three steps in this project:
1. Engaging a consultant to research and develop a 3-fold A4 Waste Minimization brochure – featuring our expanded Waste Hierarchy chart (which includes more options for materials diversion); useful website links; and helpful hints.
2. Printing of 20,000 brochures for distribution throughout the region.
3. Adding the brochure to our website and inviting our members, supporters and envNGOs to circulate the brochure to their networks.
PROJECT OUTCOMES
It is envisaged that the brochure will provide sufficient information and encouragement for residents to 'divert' more items from waste collection services. As part of the promotional campaign, we will be inviting residents to provide feedback on the format and content of the brochure, as well as suggested additions/improvements. This feedback will be collated and used to produce the next version of the brochure.

Householders' Options to Protect the Environment (HOPE) Inc
Householders’ Options to Protect the Environment (HOPE) Inc. is founded on the vision of a society which is sustainable ecologically, economically, and socially. The core idea of HOPE is that, while we should think about the environment on a planet-wide scale, we need to act in our own communities in a way that’s effective and meaningful.
