Australian Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Practitioners has been formed to be the peak body for legal psychedelic-assisted therapy in Australia; providing a framework for its safe, ethical, accountable and effective introduction focusing on the best client outcomes. They are a registered charity with the ACNC and the ATO and their mission involves education and advocacy.
Their mission is to create a trusted and ethical space for psychedelic-assisted therapy practitioners to thrive. By providing peer support, advocacy, educational opportunities and resources, they strengthen a movement that honours healing, integrity, and the useful role of psychedelics in helping address mental health problems and the maintenance of a healthy society.
As the peak psychedelic-assisted therapy body, Australian Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Practitioners integrates research into real-world practice, balancing potential and risk. With courage, they advance psychedelic-assisted therapy with scientific rigour, wisdom, and openness, free from stigma, to instill trust in members, clients, sector, and the wider community.
