Beyond Zero Emissions (BZE) is an independent think tank creating solutions for a prosperous, zero-emissions Australia. We publish research that unlocks economic potential for industries, regions and communities, and we showcase real-world projects that prove decarbonisation and prosperity go hand in hand.

Regional Australians often see the clean energy transition as a threat to jobs and investment. We show how it can be the opposite: our research has identified a $333 billion green export opportunity for Australia by 2050, and we work directly with industry, government and communities in industrial heartlands (including the Hunter and Gladstone and many more) to turn that opportunity into reality: real precincts, real jobs and real investment.
