Chabad of Rural & Regional Australia

Chabad of RARA (Rural & Regional Australia) is a community organisation dedicated to ensuring that Jewish people living outside Australia’s major cities feel connected, supported and part of a vibrant community. Across vast distances, many individuals and families have little or no access to Jewish life. Through genuine relationships, regular visits and practical support, Chabad of RARA helps ensure that no one feels alone because of where they live.

Our team travels thousands of kilometres each year, visiting regional towns and remote communities to bring people together. We provide educational programs, social events, holiday celebrations, pastoral care, school visits and opportunities for people of all ages to connect with their heritage and one another. We also offer support during times of need, helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with care, dignity and compassion.

At the heart of everything we do is connection. Whether sharing a Shabbat meal, delivering care packages, or simply sitting down for a conversation, we believe small acts of kindness can make a lasting difference. Our work strengthens community, reduces isolation and creates a sense of belonging for people who might otherwise feel disconnected.

We believe strong communities are built through relationships, inclusion and shared values. By reaching people wherever they are, we are helping build a more connected, resilient and compassionate Australia.
