For over 25 years, Frankston Brekky Club has provided free, nutritious weekday breakfasts to people experiencing homelessness, financial hardship, social isolation and other vulnerabilities. Run by dedicated volunteers, the Club offers a safe, welcoming space where anyone can enjoy a healthy meal without referral or appointment. Beyond food, it fosters social connection, reduces isolation and creates a sense of belonging through compassionate support. Volunteers also help connect guests with local health, housing and community services when needed. Working with local organisations, businesses and food donors, the Brekky Club strengthens community partnerships while improving the wellbeing of Frankston’s most vulnerable residents.
Grant funding will be used to pay the wages of the Club’s project managers, whose essential roles include coordinating daily operations, supporting volunteers, providing counselling and pastoral care, and helping connect guests with the services they need.
