Friends of Build Your Future Today - Australia

Build Your Future Today was established in April 2006, in Siem Reap, Cambodia, as an NGO, and grew from the personal desire of its founder, Sedtha Long, a survivor of the brutal years of the Khmer Rouge, to help give back to his country.

Its sole aim is to put impoverished villages on a path to a sustainable future.

Build Your Future Today provides education and social care in the form of “peacebuilding” (working with monks and nuns to solve domestic problems), plus four-year development projects that aim to make villages self-sustaining. The projects involve providing clean water, healthcare, building (especially of schools and community centres), plus agricultural and business development through a strong core team of Cambodians, backed by a global network of volunteer support groups and individuals that raise funds, provide advice, and work alongside the villagers they help.
