Golden Rose Cancer Collective is a volunteer-led and volunteer-run Australian charity dedicated to improving the wellbeing of people living with cancer by connecting them with free, evidence-informed complementary therapies and supportive wellness services.

A cancer diagnosis affects far more than physical health. Many people experience emotional distress, financial hardship, isolation and treatment side effects, yet supportive therapies that can improve quality of life are often inaccessible due to cost or availability. Golden Rose Cancer Collective bridges this gap through an innovative online platform that connects people affected by cancer with qualified volunteer practitioners offering services such as oncology massage, acupuncture, counselling, yoga, meditation, nutrition support and other complementary therapies.

Their mission is to ensure that no one faces cancer without access to compassionate, holistic support. By reducing barriers to care, they help people improve wellbeing, resilience and quality of life throughout treatment and beyond.

Golden Rose Cancer Collective are currently piloting the platform on the Gold Coast while building partnerships with health services, community organisations, cancer support groups and complementary health practitioners. Following the pilot, they will expand across Queensland, then Northern New South Wales, before progressively extending the network throughout New South Wales and across Australia. Funding will strengthen their technology, by enabling improvements to their online platform, grow the volunteer practitioner network, increase community awareness and build the partnerships needed to support this staged expansion.

Their vision is a sustainable national network providing equitable access to supportive cancer care, regardless of where someone lives or their financial circumstances.
