We’re a community-based, peer-led mental health charity, delivering life-changing results for clients, specialising in supporting women and girls impacted by trauma for whom traditional forms of therapy have been ineffective.
We are the only organisation in Australia to provide free equine therapy programs, and we believe that financial disadvantage should never be a barrier to accessing mental health supports and so every program at the Sanctuary is available free of charge to those who need it to be.
We envision a community of hopeful, resilient women and girls equipped with the life skills and improving their mental health, needed to be fulfilled in their lives, personal relationships and communities, through evidence-based, trauma-focused programs.
