Kevin Heinze Grow (KHG) is a pioneering not-for-profit organisation based in Doncaster, Victoria, that uses “therapeutic horticulture” to support people of all abilities. Inspired by the late Kevin Heinze’s belief in the healing power of gardening, KHG was established in 1979 and has since become a leader in inclusive, nature-based therapy.
KHG provides programs that promote personal development, social inclusion, and mental well-being through hands-on gardening and outdoor activities. These programs are tailored for individuals with disabilities, those experiencing mental health challenges, and people at risk of social isolation.
With locations in Doncaster and Coburg, KHG welcomes visitors and encourages community involvement through plant sales, volunteering, and fundraising events.
