Linking the Next Steps is dedicated to supporting individuals and families experiencing hardship, exclusion, and systemic disadvantage across North West Victoria.

Our organisation delivers practical assistance, inclusive education, mentoring, and employment-focused programs designed to remove barriers to participation and create sustainable pathways toward independence. We work alongside individuals facing financial hardship, geographic isolation, limited access to education and employment opportunities, and social disconnection. We also provide tailored support to young people with invisible disabilities, including neurodivergence, learning differences, and mental health challenges who often encounter additional barriers within traditional systems.

Our approach is community-based, person-centred, and outcomes-focused. We combine immediate practical support with skill development, confidence building, and long-term capacity strengthening. Through partnerships with local employers, community groups, and service providers, we create inclusive opportunities that promote workforce participation, social connection, and community contribution.
