Minus18 are Australia’s champions for LGBTQIA+ youth. They’re improving the lives of LGBTQIA+ youth, and creating an Australia where all young people are safe, empowered, and surrounded by people that support them.
Awareness & Visibility – Minus18 build awareness of the 2 in 3 LGBTQIA+ youth who still experience abuse for who they are. Their digital campaigns and partnerships start crucial conversations to amplify the voice of the next generation.
LGBTQIA+ Education – Creating an Australia free from discrimination is a job for everyone. Minus18 transform awareness into action through LGBTQIA+ training, workshops and resources that enable others to champion inclusivity – no matter their location.
Life-Affirming Programs – Minus18’s preventive model of mental health support tackles social isolation by creating spaces where LGBTQIA+ youth belong. Young people are at the forefront of their programs – and they’re empowering them to be the next generation of LGBTQIA+ leaders.
