PIYP - Hope Industries

Hope Industries is a Geelong-based social enterprise creating meaningful employment and practical pathways for people who face barriers to traditional employment, including those impacted by homelessness, addiction, mental health challenges, disability and involvement with the justice system.

They provide supported employment, work experience and skill development across gardening and grounds maintenance, property maintenance, labour hire, cleaning and pressure washing. They also operate The Hope Soap, a social enterprise supplying hand wash, amenities and cleaning products to businesses and organisations.

Hope Industries’ approach is focused on meeting people where they are and providing genuine opportunities to build confidence, develop practical workplace skills and achieve greater stability and independence.

Through their strong connection with The Power In You Project, participants can also access peer-led support, recovery programs and community connections when needed. This allows them to address not only employment barriers, but some of the broader challenges that can make maintaining work difficult.

By creating inclusive and supportive workplaces, they help people build skills, purpose, connection and a pathway towards long-term employment, while delivering quality services to businesses and the wider community.
