Port Stephens Family and Neighbourhood Services is an incorporated not for profit organisation providing community services in the Port Stephens LGA.
Funding will support their range of support services that include:
– Child, Youth & Family Counselling and Casework
– Homelessness Services, Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Support and Case work
– Parent’s & Carer’s Groups, Children’s and Young People’s Groups
– Safe Houses & Legal Clinics, Aboriginal Culture Groups
– Early Childhood Programs including Playtime Groups
– Aboriginal Family History and Outreach Programs
– Drop-in Centre, Financial Assistance
– Financial Counsellor
– Home to School Mentoring
– Youth Centre
– Multicultural Women’s Group and more.
From early 2026 they will be delivering a crisis refuge for women and children who are victim-survivors of DFV and/or are homeless. All their services are free. All groups have free child care.
