Rainbow Club Australia is a national not-for-profit and registered NDIS provider delivering specialised swimming programs for children and young adults with a disability. Their mission is to provide an inclusive, fun, and supportive environment where children can learn to swim, build confidence, and enjoy social participation.

Rainbow Club Australia operate a network of close to 70 clubs across New South Wales, the ACT, Queensland, and Victoria, supported by close to 500 trained teaching staff. Each child receives personalised, one-on-one swim instruction tailored to their individual needs, delivered in a safe and welcoming club environment alongside other families who understand their journey.

Swimming is more than a life skill for the children they support. Water safety reduces drowning risk, a significant concern for children with disability, while regular participation builds physical confidence, social connection, and independence. Many families report that Rainbow Club is the first place their child has felt fully included in a mainstream activity.

Today they support more than 2,500 children and young adults with a disability, and demand continues to grow. Rainbow Club Australia’s Board is committed to expanding their footprint and building the capacity needed to reach more children on waitlists across existing regions, as well as new communities currently without access to a club.

Funding partners help them sustain and grow this network, ensuring that a child’s postcode or family’s financial circumstances never determine whether they get the chance to learn to swim, build confidence, and belong.
