Organisation Summary

The Sammy D Foundation is a South Australian born charity dedicated to ending youth violence and empowering young people. Founded in memory of Sam Davis, who tragically lost his life to a one punch attack in 2008, the Foundation aims to educate and mentor young people to make positive life choices and live free from violence.

We provide education and mentoring programs to prevent violence among young people, empowering them with the skills and knowledge to make positive life choices. We do this by engaging with schools, sporting clubs, and community groups to spread our message and create a safer community.

We run workshops and presentations in schools and community groups, focusing on the consequences of violent behaviour, bullying and the risks associated with alcohol and drug use. While also providing 1 on1 mentoring support for at risk young people in making positive life choices.
