Spirit of Woman

Spirit of Woman is working to establish The Place of Courage, a permanent civic memorial in Bonython Park that honours and publicly recognises South Australians whose lives have been taken through domestic and family violence. Spirit of Woman have advanced this mission by leading the design, partnerships and advocacy required to bring the memorial into public life, along with the development of the Ripple Network to extend places of remembrance and community connection across the state. Together, these initiatives ensure grief is acknowledged as a shared civic responsibility and create lasting places for reflection, recognition and collective remembrance.
