Spirit of Woman is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to mitigating the devastation caused by domestic and family violence, as well as financial abuse. Our flagship initiative, The Place of Courage, is Australia’s first public artwork and gathering space of its kind, devoted to victims and survivors of domestic and family violence.
The Place of Courage seeks to reshape societal conversations surrounding domestic violence and financial abuse. It serves as a beacon of hope and healing for survivors, fostering connections among those affected, we reinforce the message that they are not alone in their struggles and that support is readily available.
