Tailem Bend Community Centre

TBCC is a not-for-profit, community-led organisation dedicated to strengthening social connection, wellbeing, and access to essential services across regional South Australia. Based in Tailem Bend, TBCC delivers inclusive programs and practical supports that respond to the needs of individuals and families, particularly those experiencing disadvantage, isolation, or barriers to access.

A core service of TBCC is Community Transport South Australia (CTSA), which operates across the Riverland, Murray Mallee, and Limestone Coast (RMC) regions—covering more than 56,000 square kilometres. Supported by over 120 volunteer drivers, CTSA provides vital access to medical appointments, social activities, and community participation, delivering thousands of trips annually and contributing significant social and economic value to the region.

TBCC offers a broad range of services, including community meals, social support programs, emergency relief, wellbeing initiatives, and community development activities. The organisation works in partnership with government, local councils, and service providers to deliver place-based solutions that reflect local priorities.

With Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) and Public Benevolent Institution (PBI) status, TBCC is committed to strong governance, sustainability, and continuous improvement. The Centre holds Australian Service Excellence Standards (ASES) Award Level accreditation, reflecting its high-quality service delivery and organisational leadership.
