Many women face challenges such as financial hardship, family violence, housing instability, social isolation, and poor mental health, making access to support critical during this life stage.

Their mission is to empower communities to ensure all women have access to transformative perinatal support through practical assistance, education, and connection. Through one-on-one support, perinatal education, life skills development, and community programs, they help women navigate pregnancy and early motherhood with greater confidence and capability.

The Babes Project believe women need access to care, education, and community before they reach crisis. When mothers are supported well, babies have a stronger start, families are strengthened, and communities benefit.

For more than 17 years, The Babes Project has supported vulnerable women through pregnancy and early parenting. Demand for their services continues to grow, with increasing numbers of women experiencing family violence, financial hardship, housing instability, and social isolation. Funding will help to provide a safe, welcoming environment where women can access education, practical support, and community connection, helping them build confidence and create stronger futures for themselves and their babies.
