Two Two One Mental Health Charity

Two Two One Mental Health Charity is a Northern Territory based organisation committed to improving mental health awareness, education, and wellbeing across communities. We believe everyone has a role to play in keeping people well and supporting conversations about mental health, and Two Two One provides the training and support to help people feel confident having these important conversations.

The name “Two Two One” reflects the idea of two eyes, two ears, one mouth. It reminds us to observe and listen more than we speak, encouraging understanding, connection, and meaningful conversations about mental health.

Founded in Darwin, the organisation was created to respond to the Territory’s unique mental health needs by providing practical and accessible education that helps people support one another. In recognition of her contribution to the community, founder Sacha King was honoured with a Northern Territory Local Hero Award at the Australia Day Awards for her work strengthening mental health awareness and support across the Territory.

Two Two One delivers nationally recognised training including Mental Health First Aid, Accidental Counsellor, and suicide awareness training such as SafeTALK. The organisation also provides workshops on wellbeing, trauma informed practice, communication, and workplace mental health. Sessions are practical, engaging, and designed for the realities of living and working in the Northern Territory. Training is often offered free for community access.

Two Two One works with workplaces, schools, community groups, and government organisations across urban, regional, and remote communities to build mental health literacy, confidence, and stronger, more supportive communities.
