WayFM is Northern Tasmania’s Christian community radio station, broadcasting from Trevallyn to more than 120,000 people across Launceston and surrounding communities.

Since 1986, we have delivered trusted, family-friendly programming that informs, encourages and connects people through uplifting music, local news, interviews, community information and emergency broadcasting. We actively support local charities, schools, churches, businesses and community organisations by promoting events, sharing local stories, providing free community service announcements and delivering outside broadcasts that strengthen community engagement. Through our partnership with Careline Connections, listeners also have access to a confidential seven-day-a-week telephone support service offering crisis care, counselling and practical assistance.

Supported by dedicated staff and volunteers, WayFM is committed to fostering inclusion, strengthening community wellbeing and ensuring local voices continue to be heard while building a sustainable community broadcasting service for Northern Tasmania.
