The Western Region Centre Against Sexual Assault (WestCASA) is a leading not-for-profit sexual assault counselling service operating in the western metropolitan region of Melbourne, the largest growth corridor in Australia. WestCASA aims to both facilitate the recovery and healing of victim/survivors of sexual assault and educate individuals on how they can play their part on making a safer community.

Our vision is for a world where everyone lives free from the fear of sexual violence. We are a proud intersectional feminist organisation, offering a compassionate, safe and inclusive environment. We work collaboratively and partner to positively impact and empower the community.

WestCASA provides:

• Specialised, trauma informed community-based counselling at our Multi-Disciplinary Centre in Werribee with outposts in Melton and Footscray
• Group and therapeutic body-based programs to support healing and recovery from sexual assault trauma.
• Therapeutic support to women in Dame Phylis Frost Prisons who are victims of sexual assaults and family violence.

WestCASA is also a leading training provider of community education programs to upskill individuals on their awareness of Affirmative Consent, Respectful Relationships and Responding to Disclosures of Sexual Assault. Training is delivered across greater Melbourne to sporting groups, local community associations, the not-for-profit sector, government and corporates.
