Dunlea Centre is a comprehensive service for young people and their families who are at risk of family breakdown, experiencing difficulty maintaining positive relationships and unable to engage successfully in the education system

Our Salesian approach promotes an atmosphere of kindness, tolerance, acceptance, and forgiveness. Dunlea Centre believes young people and families at risk can change their lives and foster a hopeful future together.

We serve to provide a safe and supportive environment for at-risk young people to engage in learning, develop social skills, and foster positive relationships.

Project Summary

Bright Girl Health presentations are Australia’s leading menstrual health education presentations, delivered by an experienced teacher.

We empower students to understand their body for better lifelong health by addressing:
– Reproductive and menstrual health & period hygiene
– Mental health & understanding emotional changes
– Help seeking and support network for more informed health choices
– Stress management, nutrition, exercise, sleep & lifestyle for balanced hormones
– Body concept and self esteem during formative years

Our purpose:
Empower: Empower students to understand and appreciate their body’s unique function, for greater body confidence
Equip: Equip students to cope with stress and health challenges, for better mental health and more balanced hormones
Encourage: Encourage students to make informed health choices, for a growth mindset and improved lifelong health
