Project Summary

Enhancing Support for FDV Survivors Through Professional Lifestyle Coaching

Each year, our Family & Domestic Violence (FDV) program supports a cohort of more than fifty clients, all of whom have faced significant trauma. To further empower these individuals on their path to recovery, we see tremendous value in integrating the expertise of a professional lifestyle coach into our program.

A lifestyle coach would provide essential guidance and support to survivors, helping them navigate life after experiencing domestic violence. Their role would include:
– Identifying Goals: Work closely with clients to envision and set achievable objectives for rebuilding their lives.
– Developing Strategies: Crafting personalised action plans tailored to each individual’s needs and circumstances.
– Post-Escape Planning: Assisting clients in planning for safe transitions and adapting to life after escaping violence.
– Encouraging Positive Change: Supporting survivors in making meaningful changes to regain autonomy, build confidence, and restore well-being.

By adding a professional lifestyle coach to our FDV program, we can offer survivors the tools, strategies, and support they need to move forward with hope and resilience.

Project Outcomes

By fostering trust, lifestyle coachers help individuals rebuild their confidence and take steps toward healing and empowerment.
