At Australian Communities Foundation, our scale enables us to charge cost-effective fees.
As a non-profit organisation, we aim to strike a balance between our commitment to accessible philanthropy and to ensuring the ongoing sustainability of our services.
Australian Communities Foundation charges a Fund Management Fee for all Funds within our Foundation. This covers administration, compliance, governance, granting due diligence and investment management. Fees are based on a cumulative tiered structure and are assessed and deducted monthly based on Fund balances.
The breakdown of the Fund Management Fee structure is as follows:
Named Fund Fees #
Named Funds are charitable accounts for individuals, families, groups and organisations who want an easy way to give strategically.

Gumnut Account Fees #

Viewing your fees #
Deducted fees can be viewed in monthly statements in your Fund Portal. If you have any questions or are having trouble viewing your fees, please contact us.
Additional fees #
Funds that require additional administrative support for activities such as research, flow-through grantmaking or fundraising may incur additional fees. We negotiate additional charges on a case-by-case basis before any work is undertaken. Bespoke support is also available through ACF Advisory.
