Fund Advisors are people with authority to manage a Fund at Australian Communities Foundation. They are usually the people who established the Fund, but might also be a professional advisor (e.g., accountant), a successor, or an employee in the case of a Corporate Fund or Future Fund.
Primary Fund Advisor vs Fund Advisor #
There are two types of Advisors at ACF: Primary Fund Advisors and Fund Advisors. By default, all Advisors on new Funds are Primary Fund Advisors unless otherwise specified.

Adding Fund Advisors #
Primary Fund Advisors can assign additional Fund Advisors at any time by contacting us and providing the following details for the additional Advisor:
- Name
- Year of birth
- Address
- Phone
- Level of authority: Primary or not?
Removing Fund Advisors #
Primary Fund Advisors can remove non-Primary Fund Advisors or themselves from the Fund at any time by contacting us. In cases where a Primary Fund Advisor requests that another Primary Advisor is removed, we will handle the request on a case-by-case basis.
