Free To Feed
Free to Feed’s ‘Recipes for Leadership and Empowerment’ is a transformational program for people seeking asylum and refugees who are passionate cooks with a sense of vocation in teaching, storytelling, and/or as entrepreneurs.
The funding sought is critical in making the program accessible to people seeking asylum and refugees, at a time when many are struggling with the impacts of the current social and economic climate. Read more
Making the Environmental Defenders Office’s Fossil Fuel Tracker Publicly Available
Environmental Defenders Office (EDO)
Since 2022, the Environmental Defenders Office (EDO) has forensically monitored and documented Australian fossil fuel projects in the regulatory pipeline, using an in-house Fossil Fuel Tracker. Their goal is to make their unique tracker a publicly available interactive map, to provide communities around Australia with access to accurate and timely information about fossil fuel projects in their area. This is critical to ensure citizens can exercise their public participation rights and work together to tackle climate change. Read more
Warrigunya On-Country Housing
Warrigunya Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation
Warrigunya provides safe, supported accommodation for men leaving prison. They have spent the last four years consulting, planning, liaising, building, and constructing four self-contained units, a common room/large kitchen, laundry, office and workshop space in Gippsland, Victoria. They are seeking funding to provide holistic support and healing opportunities to help guide these men towards a different path in life, one that leads away from prison and closer to their families, communities, and financial stability. Women in the Lead: Empowering Women-Headed Households in Eastern Indonesia
Indigo Foundation
The Indigo Foundation supports its community partners to empower women and girls, improve education and health outcomes, secure better livelihoods for families and defend human rights in their communities. This project will partner with the local grassroots organisation PEKKA NTT (‘PEKKA’) to break the cycle of poverty for women-headed households in Eastern Indonesia, making sustainable improvements to their education, food security and economic independence.
