Update for our giving community: COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting us all, but social distancing should not mean social isolation – we’re all in this together and we will be finding creative and ingenious ways to stay connected as a community over the next few months.

We know that our giving community is ready to respond with agility and compassion. Our team is compiling a list of important emerging funding opportunities that we will circulate shortly.

Like many other organisations, we are taking action to do our part in slowing the spread of the virus.

  • We will be delivering all events via webinar until further notice. The first one will be our Tackling Inequality Learning Circle on Friday 27 March which looks at the impact of racism on the Chinese and Chinese Australian communities in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
  • We know that many people do not feel comfortable using virtual technology so we will be distributing clear instructions with each invitation. You do not need a computer to join virtual meetings, you can also join by phone. Please call us if you would like assistance.
  • Our team will be working from home as of Monday 23 March. We will continue to be available by phone and email as usual and will be maintaining services as normal.
  • If you would like to meet with staff to discuss your fund, we are very happy to come to your home, or we can arrange to meet with you using virtual technology.
  • Most importantly, now more than ever is the time for thoughtful conversations and we will soon be bringing you lots of ways you can stay connected to the ACF community, and lots of strategic funding opportunities. In the meantime, take a look at our new Granting Opportunities platform if you haven’t had the opportunity to do so already.

We are very confident that we have robust business continuity plans in place and there should be little to no disruption of our services over the next few months.
