I’m passionate about…
I’m passionate about people-centred philanthropy, as I believe philanthropy is at its best when it honours lived experience and centres the voices of those it seeks to serve. Having grown up in Nairobi, Kenya, I saw firsthand the strength and resilience of grassroots responses in the face of complex challenges. That lived reality is what fuels my passion for community-centred philanthropy work that doesn’t speak for communities, but with them.

My experience
I hold a Master of International Development from RMIT and a Master of Communication (PR) from La Trobe. My experience spans communications, international development, and grassroots work. A defining chapter was volunteering for over a decade as Program Coordinator at Mary Faith Children’s Centre in Nairobi, where I supported children escaping abuse. This experience continues to shape how I show up in every space. Most recently, I volunteered with the Australian Red Cross as a Retail Assistant, supporting their work with vulnerable communities.
