Introducing Louise Kuramoto

A warm hello to all of our donors and partners. I am now three weeks into my role as Head of Philanthropy & Impact and am really enjoying getting to know about each of your sub-funds, your areas of interest and how you like to participate in philanthropy. I look forward to meeting with you all and learning more as I settle into the role.

I am working four days a week with Wednesdays at home with my two children and I come to ACF after having the past 12 months at home on maternity leave with my second child.

For the last five years I have been Program Manager at R E Ross Trust where I had responsibility for advising the Board on granting strategy, monitoring and evaluation and social issues to distribute approximately $4 million p.a. within Victoria. Prior to that, I was part of the Philanthropic Services team at Myer Family Company (MFCo), where I provided philanthropic advice to MFCo clients and had responsibility for the management of the Telematics Trust.

I will endeavour to speak to, or meet with, as many of you as I can as soon as possible, but in the meantime I encourage you to get in touch with me via phone on (03) 9412 0401 or email louisekuramoto@communityfoundation.org.au if you would like to discuss how we can better assist you on your philanthropic journey.
