Corporate Fund Peer Group Meeting – September 2025

Australian Communities Foundation Fundholders are invited to our next Corporate and Workplace Fund Peer Group meeting for 2025.

Is your organisation thinking about how broader issues and systems affect the causes you’re giving to?
Our next session will explore how applying lenses such as gender and climate can help organisations better understand and address the complex, interconnected challenges their giving seeks to address. By considering these perspectives, organisations can move towards more intentional, strategic, and inclusive philanthropy.

Our guest speakers Julie Reilly OAM (Australians Investing in Women) and Farema Yazdi (Australian Environmental Grantmakers Network) will share insights and real-world examples of how applying a lens to your giving can lead to greater impact.

Speakers:

Julie Reilly OAM
CEO, Australians Investing In Women

Julie Reilly is passionate about sharing the benefits of investing in women and girls through philanthropy and social investment. She was recognised for her impact in this work in Pro Bono’s inaugural IMPACT 25 Awards. Prior to leading Australians Investing in Women, Julie’s diverse experience spanned government, corporate, NFP, university and media roles.

Julie was awarded a Medal (OAM) of the Order of Australia in the Queen’s Birthday 2021 Honours List.  This award recognised Julie’s service to the community through charitable organisations. She is driven by the deep conviction that if funders view issues through a gender lens, it will lead to funding that brings us closer to gender equality. Learn more
