We hope you can join us on Wednesday 30 September for Australian Communities Foundation’s next Corporate and Workplace Fund Peer Group meeting.
This session will explore how small and medium-sized businesses can better embed philanthropy into their operations to create meaningful community impact while strengthening their businesses.
We’ll hear from Tony Sharley of the Murray River Trails Fund, who will share the story behind Fish Hotels, an innovative conservation project that brings together staff, volunteers and customers to help restore habitat for vulnerable native fish species in the Murray River.
There will be time for peer discussion, giving you the opportunity to exchange ideas and reflect on how to better embed philanthropy within your organisation.
About our guest:
Tony Sharley is an environmental scientist and self-proclaimed “river boy” who created Murray River Trails, an eco-tourism business offering guided walks and boat trips through the Riverland region.
