Powering Essentials Grant Round 2026

The Honig Foundation supports innovative, high-impact projects that create meaningful change for Australian citizens experiencing disadvantage. Expressions of Interest are now open for the Foundation’s Powering Essentials Grant Round.

This round focuses on South Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory and aims to improve access to essential utilities and basic household goods for Australian citizens and families facing hardship in regional and remote communities. This may include initiatives that support energy and water affordability or provide essential household items for people under financial stress.

Pilot projects are welcome, provided the proposed approach is thoughtful, community-informed and clearly explained. Up to seven one-off grants of up to $10,000 will be awarded.
