Best Lives (formerly Essential Personnel) is a NFP that has been inspiring and supporting people with disabilities and diverse abilities across Western Australia to enjoy a life of purpose, promise and possibilities since 1986.

From Perth to the Wheatbelt, by working collaboratively and thinking creatively, we find the right ways forward for every person that we support. We do this by listening, understanding what each person’s best life looks like and working together to make it happen.

Our services are the starting point for a journey that’s unique to each person we work with. The team spans from Perth to the Wheatbelt, delivering supports that are local, flexible and person centred.

• Accommodation – In-home support, specialist homes, and respite tailored to individual needs
• Employment – Building skills and finding the right job with the right employer so people can thrive in the workplace
• Employment Buddy Program – Supported work experience and skill-building workshops for young people with disabilities and health conditions
• Lifestyles – Personalised support so people can live their best lives at home and in the community
• NDIS Support Coordination – Working one-on-one to navigate the NDIS, connect the right supports and get the best value from each plan
• Property Care Services – Residential and commercial gardening services delivered by people with disabilities alongside experienced supervisors
