Community Care Packs

Community Care Packs is a registered not-for-profit organisation supporting vulnerable individuals and families across the Sunshine Coast and broader Queensland. Established to meet the growing demand for practical, immediate help, we provide essential care packs containing hygiene items, emergency necessities, comfort items and seasonal support for those experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, financial hardship or unexpected crisis.

We operate through strong collaborations with local services, including neighbourhood centres, outreach programs and grassroots community groups, ensuring our support reaches people at the right time and in the right way. Our model is community-driven: we listen closely to frontline organisations to understand real-time needs and tailor our packs accordingly. This allows us to fill critical service gaps and extend the capacity of existing support networks.

Community Care Packs is currently family-run and operating from our home while we actively seek a dedicated premises. Relocating our operations will allow us to expand our storage, increase volunteer involvement and deliver a more reliable, streamlined service for partners and recipients.

Our impact is practical, immediate and dignified. Each care pack eases financial pressure, restores a sense of worth, and provides comfort during periods of instability. In the past year, demand has continued to rise, highlighting the essential role we play in strengthening community wellbeing across the region.
