Kids in Care ACT Inc. is a volunteer-run charity, founded in 2013, dedicated to supporting children in crisis or involved with the care and protection system across the ACT and surrounding NSW regions.
Our support typically includes new toys for Christmas and special occasions, Go Bags with essential supplies and clothing, school supplies, gift vouchers, bikes, trampolines, and passes to local attractions such as cinemas and zoos.
We work with ACT children, youth and families, the NSW Department of Communities and Justice, ACT Policing, domestic violence and women’s refuges, Indigenous support services, legal and mental health services, and other community organisations to ensure these children receive immediate, tangible support at a critical time in their lives.
