Organisation Summary

Spark Youth Hub is a youth-led organisation building a community for high schoolers (13–18) who are often left out, where they can connect, build skills, and support each other to spark change. We provide safe spaces to belong, opportunities to express themselves, and real pathways to skills, leadership and action.

Spark exists because across Australia, too many young people are excluded from decisions that affect their lives, and systems meant to support them often focus on control rather than listening. That’s why our work centres young people, especially those facing systemic barriers, empowering them to co-create the spaces, skills, and opportunities they need to thrive.

Our Youth Collective shapes Spark’s programs and strategy, supported by trained facilitators delivering workshops in South West Sydney, and guided by our board, ensuring that young people’s voices are central to everything we do.

Through workshops, peer mentoring, creative projects, and inclusive online and in-person spaces, we’re building a vibrant national community where every high schooler can belong, connect, and create the future they deserve.
