- Women and girls
The Women’s Mentoring Foundation (WMF) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the mental, emotional, and social wellbeing of women from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
Many CALD women face systemic barriers, including isolation, underemployment, and exposure to psychosocial risks in both community and professional settings. Without intentional support, these challenges can lead to long-term distress, workplace dissatisfaction, and lost potential for leadership and contribution.
We are best placed to lead this work due to our deep community connections, lived experience leadership, and proven success in delivering healing-centred workshops, coaching, and mentoring programs that foster empowerment and inclusion. Our approach aligns with UN SDG 3, focusing on health and wellbeing through mental health promotion and trauma-informed leadership pathways.
Our current priorities include:
- Expanding culturally safe mental health workshops for CALD women.
- Delivering workplace-based inclusion and resilience programs.
- Building leadership development pathways to promote opportunity.
