Our principal activities will include, without limitation:
• Medical and healthcare research and innovation
• The purchase of new capital equipment
• The upgrade and construction of healthcare infrastructure and facilities
• Scholarships and the appointment of key personnel
• The development and delivery of innovative healthcare programs
Project Summary
Bendigo Health is planning a refurbishment to their palliative care and hospice unit, this service can include end stage care, symptom relief and respite. It recognises, respects and responds to individual needs of the terminally ill person and those who support them.
The Palliative Care Unit assists patients with preventing or reducing pain and alleviating other symptoms, as well as offering a realistic opportunity to spend their remaining days in a home-like environment.
The care of the staff in this department is incredible, but the facilities are needing a significant update to create a modern, home-like facility for patients and their families.
This project will be a full refurbishment, including overhead tracking, upgraded equipment, flooring, cabinetry and joinery, paint, electrical fittings, kitchen and bathroom upgrades.
