I’M PASSIONATE ABOUT…
“I’m passionate about wildlife and environmental conservation – it’s an issue very close to my heart. I want to work with like-minded changemakers to preserve this beautiful, natural world and all the weird and wonderful creatures that inhabit it. I really want future generations to get the chance to enjoy all the lovely animals and stunning wild landscapes we have now, and I’ll do all I can to ensure they get the chance to.”

MY EXPERIENCE
“While studying to attain a Bachelor of Professional Communication, I used my university holidays to volunteer overseas on two conservation trips. The first, was at Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre in South Africa to assist the breeding facility staff; and the other was at Ostional Wildlife Refuge, helping Costa Rican locals protect leatherback and olive ridley sea turtles. I’ve held short volunteer stints at Zoos Victoria and Wildlife Victoria, too. Career-wise, I’ve predominantly worked in the media space, with roles at Bauer Media NZ (Are Media), the Mamamia Women’s Network, and Easy Weddings.”
