I’m passionate about…
“There’s no cause more important to me than supporting First Nations communities and their fight for truth, treaty and self-determination. I believe that supporting Indigenous self-determination is key to addressing climate change – these communities have cared for this continent for more than 60,000 years and are at the forefront of climate resilience today.”
My experience
I have held communications roles within the philanthropic sector since 2018, first as a program coordinator for LGBTQIA+ giving circle, Give OUT (formerly The Channel). I started at Australian Communities Foundation as a program coordinator for the Impact Fund’s 2018 grant round, later moving into the broader communications role I now hold. Prior to this, I worked as a research assistant and sessional tutor in media and cultural studies at the University of Queensland and the University of Melbourne.
