On the back of War on Waste and Fight for Planet A, Craig Reucassel has partnered up with comedian Christiaan Van Vuuren to make the feature documentary Big Deal: Is our democracy for sale?

The film is being hailed as a game-changer for its ability to reach Australians who care about good democracy but have become cynical. Craig and Christiaan ask hard questions about the way big industries, like guns and fossil fuels, influence our politicians. The political analysis is hard-nosed and gripping, but it’s also a hilarious, heart-warming and ultimately hopeful story of people power.

The documentary will be available to view on-demand from Wednesday 6th October to Monday 11th October.

After you’ve watched the documentary, join Big Deal Director Craig Reucassel, Jill Reichstein OAM, AEGN Member Joan Staples, and OurDemocracy Campaign Director Tony Mohr for an insightful discussion and Q&A session live at 12pm AEDT on 11 October via Zoom.

All proceeds made from ticket sales will support the Big Deal impact campaign.
