COVID-19 National Funding Platform

What is the COVID-19 National Funding Platform?

Australian Communities Foundation and Philanthropy Australia have partnered to provide a national funding platform to coordinate the philanthropic response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Not-for-profit organisations are encouraged to register their COVID-19-related funding needs so that philanthropic funders can understand the granting opportunities available and respond to the critical needs of the sector.

How it works

HOW IT WORKS FOR

Funders

 

ONE

Click on the ‘Granting Opportunities’ link below to browse current opportunities on the platform.

 

TWO

You can use the ‘Focus Areas’ filtering tool to narrow your search down to COVID-19 related projects. You can also filter by location, target population or keyword.

 

THREE

To fund a project, please contact us on grants@communityfoundation.org.au or call 03 9412 0412.

 

If you fund a project by contacting an organisation directly, please notify us so that we can update the amount raised on the platform and know when a funding request has been fulfilled.

Granting Opportunities
HOW IT WORKS FOR

Fund seekers

 

ONE

Register your funding needs by clicking the ‘Seeking Funding’ link below and completing the form.

 

TWO

Once submitted, we will complete due diligence on your funding proposal and come back to you when the form has been processed.

 

THREE

Proposals meeting the correct criteria will then be listed on the COVID-19 Funding Platform Granting Opportunities register, and be searchable by the public and prospective funders.

National Crisis Response Fund: COVID-19

Australian Communities Foundation has established the National Crisis Response Fund to enable an effective and collective response to the pandemic. The fund’s focus is on getting resources to those hard-to-reach places where existing government and community support isn’t going.
