Aarnja is the regional body for Kimberley Aboriginal people. Its vision is to empower Kimberley Aboriginal people, communities and organisations to have a strong Aboriginal identity and share in all of the social and economic opportunities of modern society.
To ensure Aarnja’s financial capability to support long-term, sustainable wealth creation and economic participation for Kimberley Aboriginal People, the Aarnja Board of Directors set up the Aarnja Foundation Future Fund with support from Australian Communities Foundation.
Less than a year after its inception, the Aarnja Foundation is thrilled to announce the launch of five new grant rounds (On-Country Grants; Innovation Grants; Education and Employment Grants; Significant Supports Grants; and Community Heroes and Champions Grants), with a total of $350,000 grants being available to the Kimberley Aboriginal community each year.
Aarnja is currently accepting applications for the three grant rounds listed below.
Before you apply, read the guidelines here and check the applicant guide here.
