The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Service (ATSICHS) Brisbane is a not-for-profit community owned healthcare and community services organisation delivering on the unique health and wellbeing needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Brisbane and Logan. Founded in 1973, we are the largest, most comprehensive Aboriginal medical health service in Queensland and Australia's second oldest. We are determined to reinstate the wellbeing of our people – person by person, family by family, generation by generation.

We pride ourselves on providing health and community services our way – supporting our people and community in our ongoing commitment to create a flourishing future and lasting legacy for them and their families. Our vision for the future is to deliver healthy, connected Indigenous urban communities that support the health and wellbeing of our people from early years through to our Elders. We have five medical clinics, two dental clinics, a midwifery hub, child and family health services, youth services, social and emotional wellbeing programs and services, an aged care facility and a variety of family and child support services including child protection, housing services, a child and family centre, kindergarten programs and family wellbeing services. Our priority is to ensure that all services provided by the organisation are culturally appropriate and considerate of Indigenous cultural heritage.
