Organisation Summary

AHCWA is the peak body for 23 WA Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS). The 23 Member ACCHS are located across 7 regions in Western Australia and together they operate over 70 clinics throughout the State in metropolitan, regional and remote areas. The ACCHS provide high quality, holistic and culturally safe care to over 50,000 Aboriginal and 10,000 non-Aboriginal patients around the State.

AHCWA in its role as the peak body strengthens and promotes the ACCHS Model of Care and empowers Aboriginal people to achieve health equality in their communities.
