About us:
Farmers, their families, and communities in need are supported by Aussie Helpers with individualised and personalised support including financial, mental health and targeted programs. Australian farmers make up the 2% of the population providing the other 98% with their food, but face constant challenges, so this is where Aussie Helpers has been helping since 2002.

What we do and we why are unique:
We have a trusted relationship with 8,000+ farmers and communities across Australia. We provide immediate, flexible, and personalised support without the “red tape”, collaborate with other charities, constantly advocate for farmers, have a large Depot and Thrift Shop in Charleville, a large Depot in Dubbo and a Head office in Gladstone.

How we support:
Programs include “Brekkie in a Bag” which provides school children in remote schools across Australia with a healthy breakfast to support the next generation of the bush.
With the support of volunteers, we also have a bus in Oakey that takes people for medical appointments and other essential services via Kingsthorpe to Toowoomba.
Our staff are mental first aiders noting that suicide amongst farmers being the highest in the land.
Example of support for farmers include animal feed, financial assistance, food hampers, fuel cards, laptops, school fee support, student tutoring, access to mental health services, and little luxuries like Christmas hampers and gifts for kids.
