Australasian Green Infrastructure Network

The Australian Green Infrastructure Network (AGIN) is a national, member-led charity working to create greener, cooler, healthier and more resilient communities.

We bring together professionals, organisations and advocates from across government, industry, research and the community to advance urban green infrastructure across Australia. This includes trees, parks, gardens, green roofs and walls, waterways, biodiversity corridors and other nature-based solutions that improve the places where people live and work.

Our role is to connect people, share knowledge and strengthen the collective voice for greener cities and towns. We facilitate collaboration across sectors, support education and professional development, contribute to policy discussions, showcase leading practice and advocate for the greater recognition and investment that urban nature deserves.

AGIN also convenes the National Urban Green Infrastructure Roundtable, bringing together leading peak bodies to address shared challenges, identify emerging priorities and build a more coordinated national approach to urban greening.

As a charity, we rely on the support of our members, partners, volunteers and donors. Donations help us expand our advocacy, develop practical resources, support events and education, strengthen national collaboration and ensure that decision-makers understand the social, environmental, health and economic value of green infrastructure.
