Organisation Summary

Australian Democracy Network brings people and organisations together to campaign for the changes that make our democracy more fair, clean, transparent, accountable, accessible, and participatory.

Together, we are creating a healthy Australian democracy which puts people and planet first. We bring together over 200 civil society organisations and 14,000 people with an interest in democratic integrity, advocacy and civil liberties to campaign for changes that make our democracy work better for all.

When democracy is working well, it’s capable of delivering the outcomes that we need. At Australian Democracy Network we:
– Protect and strengthen public-interest advocacy.
– Build the capability of civil society to engage in democracy.
– Stop disinformation from derailing democracy.
– Grow a movement of people and organisations for democracy.
– Making our democracy more fair.
– Protect our right to protest.
